Organizations are listed by the people/being with whom and on behalf of whom they work.

Within each guide are organizations with or through whom congregations can engage in:

• direct action (relational, hands-on work)
• advocacy (working on legislation)
• organizing (community awareness and networks)
• financial support (direct funding or fund-raising)
• spiritual practice (developing practices to support the work).
